Hottlet International Agencies is a family owned company based in Antwerp. The company is currently run by Nicolas and Alain Hottlet, representing the third generation in the business.

 

It all started back around 1920, when André Hottlet, the grand-father of the actual managers, founded the company Hottlet NV that was primarily active in sugar trading. In the sixties, the second generation, Suzanne, Pierre, Paul and Claude Hottlet joined the company and developed different businesses in the sector of frozen goods, canned food, dried fruits, etc. In 1983, Claude Hottlet created a separate entity, Hottlet International Agencies, that specialized in canned food, dried fruit and molasses.

 

Thanks to the efforts and the dedication of all the persons who are or have been active in the company over the years - Alberte, Jacky, Christophe, Tim, ... - we have expanded our business and have become the reference agency active in canned & dried food for the Benelux and France.

The name Hottlet stands for trustful cooperation and decade-long connections to suppliers and customers. The relationships to suppliers frequently became personal friendships. Customers appreciate the open and fair treatment and our competent consultancy, which is the result of the wealth of experience built up across generations. This is not about short-term relationships between buyer and seller and quick profit, but about the goal of a trustful, long-term cooperation between customer and supplier. A sense of proportion and a sense of tradition do not exclude the technology-oriented use of all modern means of communication.
